HELLO! It's Connor!
...otherwise known as Con Artist online. I am a 2D animator and comic artist working to refine my craft at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I am the self published author and illustrator of the "Far From Home" Webtoon and the upcoming "Division/A" manga series. When I'm not animating or drafting up storyboards, you'll find me... wait... that's what I do in my free time, too? Nevermind, then. Back to work!
My Story
I was born and raised in a small town a few hours south of Chicago, Illinois. As a child with not a lot of things to do and a love for Disney and Ghibli, I began drawing. I became enamored with tracing paused moments of movies using the glow of the TV and following "How to Draw Elsa" tutorials on Youtube. Not too long after that, I began making entire graphic novels in Walmart journals with just a colored pencil and a dream.
As a sophomore in High School, my mom, grandma, and I made the long move to another small town just north of Houston, Texas. It was the unapologetically confident Texas atmosphere that reinvigorated and encouraged me to double down on my art, giving me the motivation to level up faster than I ever had before. In the blink of an eye, I was applying to the top art school in the country.
From then on, my dreams of being a professional artist have never seemed more tangible or real. I truly owe all of the credit to my loving and supportive family and friends for giving me the strength, courage, and means to do what felt like the impossible. Most of all I am thankful to my hardworking mother, who never gave up on me.
I strive to create something so wonderful that it repays all the faith they had in me.
